Comparison of Devices for Determining the Minimum Ignition Energy
Original language description
The aim of this paper is to present the results of experimental measurement of the minimum ignition energy of selected dust samples. Measurements will be performed on three types of devices for determining the minimum ignition energy from different manufacturers of these devices (Chilworth, Kühner and Anko). Measurements will be performed with 5 dust samples that were chosen to represent the sample of natural organic dust, synthetic organic dust and coal dust. The contribution briefly describes each device and evaluates the values measured on particular equipment with the help of processes using in CaRo tests. The conclusions of this paper subjectively evaluate the measurement of minimum ignition energy using the equipment mentioned above.
