Data Collection and Spectral Libraries for Remote Sensing Analysis of the Oil Contaminations
Original language description
The main objective of described study is an acquisition and preparation of spectral data necessary at the input for application of remote sensing algorithms (spectral libraries). In the field of analysing the oil contaminations and leakages, it is possible to apply the geoinformatic technologies and remote sensing techniques. The study rationale is based on the fact, that robust spectral libraries are needed input for analysis of airborne and satellite imagery. The field surveys of data collecting werecarried out in the Central European area: in Slovakian Korňa village where active natural oil seepage is located and in ancient oil and gas deposit Nesyt in Czech Republic. In Nesyt, the extensive oil and gas production activities were carried out at thebeginning of 20th century and the possible oil contamination threat of soil and groundwater is still present. Data collection, successful building and verification of spectral library containing spectral signatures of oil and contaminate
