Original language description
This article describes the problem of hydrological extremes in Klimkovice municipality cadastre and their possible solutions in the form of revitalization of the Rakovec stream. This article presents the current state of the Rakovec stream and describesthe revitalization adjustments of this site. The main adjustments include a design of a new route of the revitalized riverbed, adjustments of the transverse and longitudinal profile, a proposal of various types of pools and, last but not least, a proposal of the stabilization of the revitalized riverbed, accompanied by a proposal of bank vegetation. A 3D model of the revitalized stream, which provides a visualization of the suggested adjustments, was elaborated afterwards.
