    Dustiness is one of the serious problems we encountered in civilian life, but especially in manufacturing activity. To reduce dustiness in the workplace, a range of technical equipment and a number of organizational measures are applied. To assess the options to reduce dust, I focused on one important aspect, namely the spray functions. I demonstrated that current methods of disposal of dust by spraying do not meet the requirements of the consistency of thedust grainsize and water drops. According to the analysis of the dust fragmentation of sizes of water drops produced by nozzles, I suggest a qualitatively new solution for effective spraying. An important and most frequently used means of disposal of dust is spraying with water. Recently, it has beenfound that for its efficient operation,there must be a certain relation between the size of the dust grains and water drops.
