Original language description
Pollution of air by dust particles and heavy metals adsorbed on them represents a significant problem not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the world. Specifically, the Moravian-Silesian Region is one of the most polluted sites by dust particles inthe Czech Republic. Therefore, atmospheric concentrations of heavy metals (Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Sb, Tl, Mn, Fe and Zn) were monitored at 10 localities in the region during summer of 2014. Heavy metals were monitored in 10 particle size classes (18.3nm - 9.93 m). The percentage of the amount of heavy metals in N-ARY SUMMATIONPM at all localities ranged from 0.2 to 2.5 %. Cr, Mn, Fe, and Zn were mostly accumulated in dust particles with diameter greater than 1.6 ?m. Pb, Cd and Sb occur mainly in theclass below 0.949 ?m.
