  • Original language description

    The paper deals with the problems of control and suppression of dust suppression. They are introduced for the technical and organizations means, which helped to the higher level of safety and health conditions in mines in Ostrava-Karvina basin in Czech Republic. This basin is the most important producer of bituminous coal in the country with yearly output of 12 mil. tonns. The accent is given to the modern technologies of spraying and determination of fragmentation of coal. The categories of working places with respect to the dust concentration are introduced also.
