    The contribution deals with underground mines liquidation in the framework of last phase of their life. There are presented advantages and disadvantages of mine flooding, shafts loose backfill, mine solidified backfill and combination of the mentioned methods. On the base of emergency situations in shafts liquidation it is recommended solidified backfill. This way returns the region very closely to the state before mining commencement.
