THE VEGETATION SURVEY AT NATIONAL NATURE HERITAGE LANDEK AND MINE DUMP-URX (MORAVIAN-SILESIAN REGION, CZECH REPUBLIC)
Original language description
The article deals with the state of vegetation by the phytosociological surveys on industrial landscape Upper Silesia. The first study area is a national natural heritage and the second study area is anthropogenic relief mine dump – which affects phytosociological track both positively and negatively due to the differences in chemical composition and temperature. Geobotanical studies serves as the basis for further management of the study area. Human activities significantly change the species composition at the area and the human impact continues there. From the field surveys the phytosociological characteristics were obtained – which assesses the current state of vegetation. The main objective of the research was the phytosociological evaluation of the Landek Hill National Natural Heritage and mine dump-Urx which is located in the same area. The results of the research of plant communities were classified to the alliance level. In the territory of Landek hill were found the alliance-Carpinion and Fagion and in mine dump area was classified the alliance-Genisto germanicae – Quercion. The paper provides a comparison of the existing botanical exploration in the territory of the National Nature Heritage Landek in 1983, 1997, 2005, and also in the territory mine dump Urx in 1997 with the present. Succession of plant communities was observed at study locations in the study periods. The paper compares the available theoretical knowledge of phytocoenology with the practical results obtained in this field.
