Study of influence of temperature and relative humidity on thermal conductivity of geothermal injection grouts
Original language description
The study is focused on the issue of filling boreholes used in application of heat pump in the ground - water system and also boreholes used for storage of heat in underground reservoirs. In closed-loop vertical geothermal systems, the material that fills the gap between the borehole wall and PE collector tubes is an essential element of the entire system. When using geothermal energy by heat pumps, the material is called an injection grout. Its function is, among other things, ensure effective heat transfer between the rock mass and heat transfer medium flowing in PE-pipes of the collector. The main goal of the present article is to determine the influence of temperature (range from -5 to 85oC) on the thermal conductivity of the tested samples. (C) 2020 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
