The workhop supports development of the Moravian-Silesian regions in the frame of the Strategy of the development od Smart Moravian-Silesian Region 2017-2023 &quot;Smarter region&quot; intended to improve restructuralization of the region, bring new job opportunities, developing of new opportunities for business, and to stop the emigration of young and educated people from the region. Topics are focused on technologies for building smart regions, especially geoinformation technologies, including those supporting governance of cities and regions, big data, data science, Spatial Sensor Networks, Earth Observation, virtual and augmented reality, management of technical infrastructure, mobile phone network data, etc.
