Original language description
Using statistical methods, companies increase their competitiveness. Properly chosen statistical methods are an important helper for companies in determining the current market situation, and help in planning new projects that are yet to take place. The article will focus on the use of statistical methods in enterprises, specifically the paper will briefly describe the non-parametric statistical method. Due to the scope of this paper, only the most used nonparametric statistical methods from the field of testing statistical hypotheses will be presented. Furthermore, the paper will describe the advantages and disadvantages of nonparametric tests, an example of one of the nonparametric statistical methods will be addressed. Subsequently, the paper will describe how non-parametric methods can be used in quality management.
