A practical case study demonstrates the deployment of the drone in a mining context, capturing high-resolution data to construct a de-tailed photogrammetric model of a surface quarry. The results underscore the utility of the DJI Mavic 3 in generating accurate terrain models, which can support various industrial and geological applications. This work highlights the advantages of integrating UAV-based photogrammetry in the mining in-dustry, including improved efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and accessibility.
