The article gives analysis of impact of forging conditions on structure and mechanical properties of structural C-Mn steel microalloyed with additions of vanadium, niobium and nitrogen. The propose forging technology enables obtaining of fine grain structure of austenite during hot forging and obtain forged pieces with yield point of approx. 700 MPa. Thanks to controlled cooling from finish forging temperature
