The trend of present in the steel production is to achieve constantly bigger volume of continuously casting steel to the detriment of the volume of steel casted to ingot mold. This can be achieved only by a perfect optimization of production with exploitation of computer technique applications both for operative control of production and for particular technological processes control. Minimize of the casting time perturbation is goal of control.
