The influence of cooling conditions on the structure and properties of hot rolled dual phase steel
Original language description
The effect of different cooling patterns after hot rolling on the mechanical properties and structure formation of 0.05% C - 0.83% Mn - 1.13% Si - 0.53% Cr - 0.33% Mo steel is established in this work. Optimum results, with a Tensile Strength of 595 MPa,Proof Stress/Tensile Strength ratio of 0.62 and elongation of 30.2 %, have been obtained after cooling down from finished temperature of 880 °C to a coiling temperature of 550 °C with a cooling rate of 30 °C/s.
