Original language description
Magnesium and magnesium alloys are primarily used in aeronautical and automotive marked in wide variety of structural characteristics because of their favorable combination of tensile strength 160 to 365 MPa, elastic modulus (45 GPa), and low density (1740 kg/m3). Applications and some technological aspects of the production selected magnesium forming alloys are presented in the first part of this paper. In experimental part structure and mechanical properties of forming magnesium alloys AZ 91 were investigated.
