    The paper deals with an original method of measurement of elements microheterogeneity in the structure of ductile cast iron (DCI). The paper also introduces the basic characteristics of the original thermodynamics model of a graphite growth in the graphite cell. With the help of the new method of microheterogeneity measurement and the original model of graphite growth it is possible to define more precisely the thermodynamical, diffusive and phase data of elements in the DCI.
