Original language description
The welded joint composition and microstructure were evaluated before and after the diffusion annealing at 1140 °C for 48, 96 and 192 hours. The dependences of volume fraction of Kirkendall voids on the annealing time and distance from the Matano plane were determinated. It was concluded from the results that the void volume fraction increases towards the g/g´ interface (x). The Kirkendall void rounding and coalescence were observed.
