Thermo-mechanical processing of low-alloyed single crystals of refractory metals
Original language description
Preparation of low-alloyed alloys of tungsten and molybdenum single crystals by means of the secondary recrystallization method and discovering suitable conditions to ensure the growth of grains. The secondary recrystallization method utilizes an intensegrowth of crystal grains at a certain temperature gradient after critical plastic deformation or after alloying of suitable fine dispersion particles that prevent other parasitic grain from growth. It is necessary to optimise the conditions of recrystallization, especially from the viewpoint of sufficiently steep temperature gradient and the necessity to use materials of a higher purity and structural perfection, eventually to find suitable micro-alloying elements which would support the kinetics of growth of big grains and absorbing small grains.
