Original language description
Plastometric tests of low-carbon steel (0,057 % C, 0,29 % Mn) have been performed on torsion plastometer SETARAM. Material constants requisite to stress-strain curve description were calculated by the help of software Energy and Unistat on the basis of performed tests. That means that strain needed to initiation of dynamic recrystallization at given technological rolling conditions has been determined. Evaluation of hot rolling technology of the same steel at working conditions - on reversible two-standSteckel rolling mill in ISPAT NOVA HUT Inc. has been realized and on the basis of obtained knowledge then was determined when dynamic recrystallization during hot rolling on this mill can be initiated.
