Possibilities of qualified assessement of dendritic structure of cast metallic alloys

  • Original language description

The original approach to assessment of dendritic structure of metallic alloys was presented and experimentally verified for structures from the set of heats of continuously cast steel slabs and structures of cast nickel based alloys. It has also been demonstrated that rate of solidification can be determined with use of model of thermal field of the casting from the relevant alloy.
