    PC simulation of leak in plastic deformation with undercooling surface near rolling of billets

  • Original language description

    Computer simulation of all rolling passes of square billet from continuous starting round section, is presented. Influence of undercooling of surface layers of preform on penetration of plastic deformation to centre of rolled product was investigated viaPC simulation. We were performed the simulation of continuous cooling cast section for that purpose. Rolling simulation was served for 4 surface temperatures at the range 1300 - 1000 °C, due to this we obtained different running temperature - depth dependence from surface relations. Simulation was computed by 2D FormFEM 1.5 simulation program of forming processes. We can term applied method of solving as " 2,5D ", i.e. simulation of metal flow in plane of rolling only, with cross section reduction according to the true elongation coefficient.Simulation results (for all 17 passes and 4 degrees of undercooling of surface) are as follows: stress intensity field, dependence of temperature on distance from core to surface for x and y axis,
