    The Resistance of 22/05 Duplex Steel to SSC

    In this paper results of SSC (Sulphide Stress Cracking) resistance of the duplex austenite-ferrite steel of type 22/05 according to EURONORM 1.4462-X2CrNiMoN 22.5.3 are summarized. Steel was tested in two different states. First of all in the as-receivedstate after rolling and secondly after annealing to the following regime: 800oC/5h/air, which produced a discontinuous precipitation of the phase &#963;. The aim of this work was to show that resistance of steel to SSC depends strongly on the microstructure (precipitation of minority phases in our case) and other metallurgical factors such as chemical composition and heat treatment. The resistance can't be derived only from material hardness, which is a common engineering approach. If this fact is notrespected, a material non resistant to SSC can be chosen.

    Příspěvek se zabývá hodnocením odolnosti duplexní oceli 22/05 o označení dle EURONORM 1.4462-X2CrNiMoN vůči sulfidickému praskáním pod napětím, které je specifickým projevem vodíkové křehkosti v prostředí sulfanu. Ocel byla testována jednak ve výchozím stavu (válcování a rozpouštěcí žíhání) a ve stavu po laboratorním zušlechtění režimem 800oC/5h/vzduch. Cílem práce bylo posoudit, jak ovlivňují mikrostrukturní charakteristiky odolnost této duplexní oceli vůči SSC.
