Simulation is a technique for conducting experiments with a computer on a model of a management system over an extended period of time. Simulation can handle a wide variation in problem types. The article presents the possibilities of using simulations in the sphere of judging impacts of enterprise resource centralization. The example of centralization of railway transport in a metallurgical enterprise was used to reach this aim.
