Vliv chemického složení keramických filtrů s přímými otvory na mikročistotu filtrované oceli

  • Original language description

This papers deals with the effect of chemical composition of the oxide ceramic filters on the filtration efficiency of low carbon steel by means of series eight filters. These filters had direct (straight) capillaries. Low carbon steel had a basic composition in wt. % 0.26 C, 0.88 Mn, 0.51 Si, 0.021 P, 0.013 S was melted in induction furnaces and deoxidized by means of manganese and silicon. The series of specially prepared eight ceramics filters were created with a different oxide basis of these ceramics. The increasing thermodynamic stability of the used filters was possible to evaluate in the following range: Cr2O3, TiO2, SiO2, ZrO2, Al2O3, 3Al2O3.2 SiO2, RK5 and filter MgO.Al2O3. By means of quantitative metallographic analyses was estimated that the efficiency of filtration is a functions of thermodynamic stability of oxide components of ceramics filters. The higher thermodynamic stability of the ceramic filters corresponds with better metallographic micro-clean of the filtrated s
