Original language description
Paper concerns investigation of plastic properties for hot conditions through torsion tests. Deep-drawing brass Ms70 represents the cartridge brass. Brass bars have been made by hot extrusion pressing with next cold drawing. The hot extrusion pressing process was turned out as problematical operation in technology of Ms70 brass bars. Therefore assessment of hot formability properties was tested on universal plastometer. Analysis of strain rate equations by plastometric test were made. The specimens weremachined from Ms70 brass rods. The first tests were realized by forming temperature 650, 700, 750, 800 and 850 °C. Entry torsion tests of cartridge brass were made possible to design an experimental plan of real process of extrusion pressing.
