Inclusions, their number, size, chemical composition, shape, dislocation in metal matrix and their formability are one of criteria of produced steel quality. These parameters of inclusions influence properties of steel product and on the other side can cause defects originating at steel forming. There was done metallographical classification of inclusions aimed at finding of reason of steel ?rip? origin at rolling of continuously cast blanks in presented paper.
