Original language description
The temporal behavior of CO2 photocatalytic reduction by water in the UV/TiO2 process was studied. The main products of the reduction process were found to be methanol and methane. A Langmuir?Hinshelwood type kinetic equation was developed for modeling of CO2 photoreduction. A simple kinetic model incorporating the coupled effect of the adsorptive photocatalytic reduction and oxidation has been proposed.
