Ni-22Al-2Zr at.% alloy was prepared by induction melting and then directionally re-melted at three different rates, namely, 20, 50 and 70 mm/h. Documenting and analysis of micro-structure and basic investigation of porosity and micro-hardness were carried out on the transversal and longitudinal sections of this alloy.
