Evaluation of Suitability of Use of Low-temperature Plasma for Disposal of Electric Waste
Original language description
Waste recycling is nowadays a very topical problem particularly when electric waste is concerned. Production of electric waste and/or scrapped electric and electronic devices extremely increases and it is necessary to solve problems of their recycling ordisposal. Today electric waste is a waste, which is continuously discussed. The main reasons for this are possible dangerous components, material re-utilization and last but not least its disposal. When metals from scrapped electric and electronic devices are recycled the properties are the same, character of metal does not change. The problem is with plastic parts, which essentially change their properties during further treatment. Recycling of this kind of waste in the modern world represents permanently sustainable access to the required secondary materials. Plastics represent the greatest share in the electronics. It concerns mainly thermoplastics and thermosets containing flame and stabilizing retardants
