Granulated blast furnace slag and some steel slags are importantly latent hydraulic materials. In the way of alkaline activation to become out clinker alternative binder, suitable as a replacement for Portland cement. Targeted combination with other materials can be prepared composites of advantageous technical properties plus with environmental and economic benefits.
