    The microstructure features of TiNb based alloys after different heat treatment

  • Original language description

    The influence of Nb content on the microstructure features and on the microhardness values after different heat treatment was studied in two TiNb-based alloys with 22 and 25 at.% Nb. The experimental alloys were prepared by plasma melting. All heat treatments of the specimens were performed in protective atmosphere of Ar gas. Microstructure of the prepared alloys was studied using light microscopy on the samples in different conditions of precipitation aging. The microhardness values showed obvious relation with heat treatment and aging.
