New laboratory of process engineering at VŠB-TUO
Original language description
There has been implemented a New process engineering laboratory at Faculty of metallurgy and materials engineering at VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava because such a type of laboratory has been missing there. Laboratory is equipped by seven model stations where chemical processes with gas, liquid and solid phase can be studied. Stations have quarter-plant scale. Laboratory is going to be both for educational purpose and student's creative work. At present, new equipment is used for elaboration of three graduation theses and one doctoral thesis. Next year new subject called "Laboratory practise of process engineering" will be introduced for bachelor and continuous master study programme of Process engineering and also for discretionary selectable course for others faculties.
