Mathematical Modelling of Deformation Behaviour of X15CrNiSI20-12 Heat Resisting Steel During Rolling of Special Sections
Original language description
The paper deals with mathematical modelling of rolling of shaped sections in rolls with grooves. They included common S355J0 steel and heat-resisting austenitic stainless X15CrNiSi20-12. Main variables for mathematical modelling included material characteristics of steels (flow stress, thermal conductivity, specific heat and thermal expansion properties), the friction coefficient and the position of the rolled product in the roll pass.. Results of the simulation included an assessment of the deformationbehaviour of the X15CrNiSi20-12 steel and its comparison with plain carbon steels previously rolled in Válcovny speciálních profilů, VÚHŽ a.s. The comparison was primarily focused on the cross section of the rolled product upon individual passes in rollpasses 1 and 2.
