Original language description
The article describes the prediction of gaseous phase in the pyrolysis process using artificial neural networks. The objective is to find a combination of input variables (amount of materials, temperature, time of the process, etc.) to reach the maximumamount of gaseous phase. Pyrolysis is physical-chemical process. It belongs into group of thermal processes acting at a high temperature on the waste, which exceeds the limit of its chemical stability. There is a thermal decomposition of organic materialin a controlled atmosphere without oxygen. The output pyrolysis products are solid, liquid and gaseous fractions. The goal of prediction is to get as much gaseous fraction as possible.
