Prediction of Change of Energy Supplied to Materials in Equal Channel Angular Pressing Method Technology

  • Original language description

This paper deals with the ECAP technology in order to determine a deformation work of created samples. As a number of extrusion increases, the energy rate of extruded material reduces. With a higher number of extrusion there is a risk, that the deformation pressure applied to so much reinforced and homogenized material can cause equipment failure. Therefore it is necessary to predict a maximum number of extrusion for the sample of concerned material. The paper presents a new way for evaluating the results of mechanical work (energy supplied to materials) depending on the number of extrusion. According to a course of this regression function it is possible to determine the maximum number of extrusion without material fracture.
