    Co-Mn-Al mixed oxide supported on TiO2 for N2O decomposition

  • Original language description

    A series Co-Mn-Al/TiO2 catalysts with different Co-Mn-Al mixed oxide loading (1?25 wt%) were prepared by impregnation of TiO2. Spinel phase and presence of TiO2 ? anatase were identified by X-ray diffraction. Bulk Co-Mn-Al mixed oxides were prepared by two different methods which had crucial influence on morphology and porous structure. All prepared catalysts were tested for N2O catalytic decomposition. The highest catalytic activity was achieved on Co-Mn-Al-HT-ex and Co-Mn-Al-carb, lower on Co-Mn-Al-nitr. The activity further decreased with decreasing amount of Co-Mn-Al on TiO2 which acted only as a catalytic support and did not contribute to the catalytic activity.
