Extraction of Inorganic Species of Coal: a Review.
Original language description
The review "Extraction of inorganic species of coal" covers: a) new information concerning the water soluble mineralization, ions adsorbed on the coal surface, chemical elements bonded in organic and mineral parts of coal; b) leaching of coals and/or ashes in water, aqueous solutions of salts, mineral acids and their mixtures and other solvents; c) coal demineralization and desulphurization. The attention is focused namely on the sequential extraction that is widely used for the determination of modes of elements? occurrence. Results of methods based on the sequential extraction principle suggested by various authors are compared with results obtained by other methods used for the same purpose (e.g., sink float technique and XAFS).
