INFLUENCE OF REDUCING SALT BATH TO STAINLESS STEELS
Original language description
The reason for application of reducing salt bath pickling technology prior to the acid pickling technology is better solubility of the low valent metal oxides and metals, especially for highalloy steels and alloys. The results of the Glow Discharge Optical Emission Spectroscopy (GDOS) and chemical analysis of the scales by Scanning Electron Microscope of the high alloy steel before and after the treatment of the reducing salt bath will be presented. The paper will be completed by the results of the practical tests of materials with variable chemical composition with reducing salts.
