Influence of Slag on Development of Chemical Composition of Inclusions of Vacuum Treatment of Steel In Vacuum Chamber
Original language description
The presented paper is focused on assessment of changes of chemical composition in dependence of chemical composition of slag. Objective of the work was to determine the extent of such influence. For this purpose samples of metal and slag were taken at various stages of steel processing. Samples taken from steel served for chemical and metallographic analysis of inclusions. Samples of slag were subjected to chemical analysis. All the heats were processed in the following technological flow: BOF ? ladlefurnace ? caisson (ISSM) ? continuous casting.
