Analysis of energy demandingness of metallurgical production
Original language description
The increase in consumption of all types of energies represents a global and environmental problem. The long-term strategic energy policy objectives include reduction of energy and raw material demandingness, which could be achieved especially by supporting new production technologies with minimal demands for energy and raw materials with maximum appreciation of the used energy and raw materials. The article suggests the possibility of using methods of structural analysis to calculate the direct and complex consumption and, on the basis of this calculation, we can determine the energy demandingness of the individual metallurgical technologies
