    The chapter deals with optimization of blast furnace process. It aims at its optimization by blast furnace feedstock properties. It works with reducibility of blast furnace material which is given into correlation with important parameters of blast furnace operation. The chapter is focused on reducibility of sinter which reducibility was tested according to international standard ISO 4695 at environment of CO and N2. The tests results as reduction index were counted by model designed at Cenet ? Centre for Utilization of non-traditional Energy Sources, VŠB ? Technical University of Ostrava to find some interesting correlation with blast furnace aggregate operation and finally graphically interpreted.
