WASTE DEGAZATION GAS AND ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATIONS IN METALLURGY
Original language description
Increasing of efficiency of metallurgical technologies together with decreasing of emissions are the most important tasks in abroad and in the Czech Republic for the time being. Reasonable technologies together with economical and ecological aspects of using of non-traditional alternative gaseous fuels in metallurgical plants are very promising. At the Technical University of Ostrava, a number of mathematical simulation of metallurgical processes were gradually developed in the past years, which in general create a so-called analytical blast furnace process evaluation system. At present, the research center ENET solves the imposition of degazation gas (mixture of air with methane) as substitute for the blast furnace.
