The study of strains distribution in tensile test specimens of IN 738 LC alloy was performed before and after hydrogenation. Tensile specimens were submitted to hot isostatic pressing before hydrogenation and tensile test. Half set of specimens was hydrogenated at 800°C for 4 hours. Tensile test was realized with deformation rate of 2.5 x10-3 s-1. The average yield strength of the hydrogenated specimens reached of 767+-22 MPa that was by 6% higher than that on of the non-hydrogenated specimens. The average ultimate tensile stress in the hydrogenated state increased by 2% to 923+-42 MPa comparing to the specimens without hydrogenation. During the tensile tests, surfaces of the specimens were scanned by camera and displacement fields were observed. Aftertensile tests, the analysis of mechanical properties and estimation of strain fields obtained using digital image correlation were performed.
