Manufacturing of Atlas sculpture after own artist design
Original language description
This contribution is aimed to manufacture of brozne sculpture of titan Atlas according to own-carved wood pattern. The sculpture was inspired by work of american sculptor Niesls Andersen. Molding mixture with OBB SAND binder, which is better to copy a shape complicated surface of pattern, was used for the casting manufacture. The casting was manufactured with utilization of core, which was used through the whole casting, in order to achieved a low -weigth casting and to achieve a high surgface quality.Modified self-hardenning mixture, based on mixture of plaster and red clay, was applicated for core manufacture.
