    The paper presents microwave technology for curing molding mixtures in foundry applications. The aims of the paper are a) to verify possibilities e.g. the effect of different modules of Na- silicates on bending strength of alkali silicates (binder) usedfor microwave technology, b) the comparison of Na? and K- alkali silicates used for bonding foundry cores in microwave technology and c) effect of modification silicates with aluminum and additive S on the resulting strength.
