Original language description
Experiments were focused on detailed characterization of specimens from two belt - casted slabs of high Mn austenitic steels using light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy coupled with EBSD. Precipitates along austenite grain boundaries were identified using EDX microanalysis. The effect of phosphorus content in the casts investigated on the formation of ternary phosphide eutectics was discussed. Microhardness profiles across the whole thickness of strips were evaluated.
