Original language description

Experimental work was focused on microstructural characterization of thin strips from austenitic steels in the state after hot rolling or hot rolling and annealing. In five depths under the surface of strips the fraction of delta ferrite was evaluated using image analysis. The austenite grain size was determined using the linear intercept method. EBSD analysis across the thickness of one specimen was carried out.
