Comparison of DTA and DSC method related to the heat effects of phase transitions of Fe-alloys in low and high temperature region
Original language description
The paper deals with issues connected with the investigation of heat effects ("Latent Heats") of phase transitions of Fe based metallic alloys. Results obtained using Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) are themethods that are subject of presented work. Both two methods are suitable for obtaining of thermo-physical and thermo-dynamical data. This paper deals with the influence of settings of the experimental conditions [1] of the used DTA and DSC methods in relation to the obtained data (heat effects of phase transitions). The paper is focused mainly on the study of heating/cooling [2] rate and mass influence of the sample [3] on size of the thermal effects of alpha-gamma (gamma-alpha), gamma-delta (delta gamma) phase transformations and on melting (solidifying) of "pure Fe".
