    Experimental and theoretical characterization of properties of real steel

  • Original language description

    This paper is focused on the characterisation of properties of real steel. For chosen steel grade, temperatures of phase transformations, latent heats, heat capacity, linear coefficient of thermal expansion and surface tension were obtained. All properties were experimentally measured and also theoretically calculated using Thermo-Calc 2015a software. Calculated and measured quantities were compared to each other and good agreement between these results was found.
